Lot: 462 Description: UNION PACIFIC SP- cast down panel of brass heart shaped switch lock manufactured by W. Bohannan and showing 1876 patent. "SP" (South Park) is engraved at the top of the panel. "SWITCH" engraved on the reverse. Complete with 8 links of iron forged chain. Key cover stamped, "Push Shackle In To Get Key Out." Spring in key cover and shackle moves. This version is rare enough but to have the addition of South Park is putting this lock into a whole new category. One of the stars of this issue and again a prize for the new owner.
