Lot: 431 Description: P&RRR (Philadelphia & Reading) on shoulder of brass top RR Signal Lamp & Lantern Co. with twist off fount. Comes with clear cast serif letter extended base globe. Brass top has a few dents and lid is dark with lightly pitted surface and lid does not close tight. Lantern has been cleaned for display. Nice globe with normal top & bottom edge no show chips. Bottom of twist off has light surface pitting. A rare maker and early lantern from the Shankweiler estate. Minimum bid: $400 Price Realized: $400 |
