Lot: 416 Description: D&RGRR (Denver & Rio Grande) on shoulder of Handlan Buck, "The Handlan" double wire guard frame with drop in fount. Comes with red etched D&RG Safety First, barrel globe. Frame still shows solid tin however the globe retainer is rusted and a large manmade hole in the bottom of the frame. Also has a replacement fount. Small hole in dome and side dent. Sounds worse than it is. Still nice display and strong marks on this early example. Minimum bid: $200 Price Realized: $240 |
