Lot: 147 Description: SOUTHERN PACIFIC - stainless steel number plate from car #9351 a 13 double room Pullman - Standard sleeper, built on March 20, 1941 for the "Lark" train. Plate measures 8" x 3 1/2" with 4 mounting posts on reverse. The Lark was built to accommodate business and others traveling between Los Angeles and Oakland. Touted as offering a high class of service it eventually was discontinued in the 60's. Since we can't go back to enjoy the ride at least you can take a small piece of the history home with you.
