Lot: 437 Description: E&PRR (Eureka & Palisade) serif letters stamped on shackle of brass lock manufactured by Post & Co. Stamped "C" CAR on reverse. This 84-mile narrow gauge mining line in Nevada operated from 1873 to 1901. Lock was found at Eureka, Nevada. Dark patina with strong spring and the added bonus of being a Car key just adds to the appeal. Very few relics remain from this elusive and sought-after line.
