Lot: 433 Description: C&C RR (Carson & Colorado) serif letters stamped on shackle of brass switch key with S on reverse. Hallmarked Union Brass on the top of the key cover. This rare narrow-gauge mining line was gone by 1892. This example was found/dug at Sodaville, Nevada. Lock is in good working order and opens with lot 297. Strong spring in the key cover but not much in the shackle. Still a chance to complete a scarce pair. Minimum bid: $400 Price Realized: $825 |
