Lot: 31 Description: SACRAMENTO NORTHERN RAILWAY WATCHMAN – on round metal uniform badge #19 with small burgess catch on reverse. Hallmarked P&MK Co. This was a 280-mile electric short line in California that operated from 1921 to 1948. Badge dates from period 1930 to 1935. Black enamel still evident in the letters. Reverse shows remnants of black enameling as well. Very rare and first I’ve had the pleasure of offering. Minimum bid: $250 Price Realized: $320 |
