Lot: 230 Description: D&RG BUENA VISTA - 9" dinner plate top marked with "Denver & Rio Grande," and manufactured by Trenton China. This circa 1900's amazingly rare and beautiful piece is from the Neil Shankweiler estate and one of the stars of this issue. There are not very many of these examples that have survived. First I've had the pleasure of handling in my 30 plus years. Plate shows understandable utensil marks in center well but still boasts bright glaze. No chips or cracks.
