Lot: 19 Description: SANTA FE - large color print of original oil painted by Robert Wesley Amick titled, "Indian Weaver. Framed but not under glass this measure 33 1/4" x 27 1/2". This came out of the offices of the Santa Fe and has a sticker on the reverse that reads, "This Painting is the Property of the Atchison Topeka & Santa Fe Railway Co. Advertising Department, Chicago, ILL. It is listed as Office Fixtures and must not be removed from the Company premises." Obviously, someone did not follow directions! A nice piece of early railroad history just waiting for a new wall to be proudly displayed. Minimum bid: $75 Price Realized: $290 |
