Lot: 111 Description: COLORADO & SOUTHERN - wooden Surgical Supply box. Printed on the outside the box reads, "Wrecking Car under Surgical Supply Box then Union Pacific over Medical Department. As you can see Union Pacific is faded. It is suggested that when the UP took over the South Park, they marked the trunk originally and then when the C&S took over it was repainted. Box measures, 18 1/2" wide by 26 1/2" long and 13" in height. It weighs approximately 32 pounds. Inside of lid has applied" Contents and their Uses." Has several compartments as shown in the photos. This amazing survivor of early South Park history once residing in Como is now up for sale to be offered to the next lucky caretaker. It would be wonderful to see it sent back to this historic Colorado City but only time will tell.
