Lot: 97 Description: MILL CITY NV FOR PUBLIC USE - on oval brass wax sealer with tall wooden handle. Mill City, Nevada was a station on the line of the Central Pacific Railroad which is now a ghost town. Circa late 1860's this rare die was dug at the same location. It does have a replacement handle but the die is the historic relic and certainly a treasure for the new owner. Minimum bid: $100 Price Realized: $210 |
