Lot: 359  Description: C&C RR - (Carson & Colorado) embossed letters down panel of brass CAR lock manufactured by Dayton. The Carson & Colorado was a 300 mile narrow-gauge mining line in Nevada that operated from 1880 to 1892. This lock was found/dug near Luning, Nevada. Opens well with C&CRR Bohannan key lot 234. Extremely rare this one is believed to be the best of example of the four to six known to exist in collections today. Strong spring in the key cover & shackle.
