Lot: 78 Description: ILLINOIS CENTRAL - Baldwin Locomotive Works plate #41444 dated June 1914. Plate is from a 2-8-2 engine #1541. Measures 9 1/4" diameter and still holds curve. Plate has been cleaned and letters have been highlighted in blue with red border. Reverse stamped, "12484 E 593". Mount holes show understandable wear. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $925 |
