Lot: 68 Description: AT&SF - Baldwin Locomotive Works Burnham Williams & Co brass plate No. 24089 dated May 1904. Large manhole sized plate measures 16 1/2" diameter and still holds boiler mount curve. Reportedly off and 4-4-2 engine #508 scraped in August 1928. Reverse numbers read, "10 2/4 4/4 1/4 C 152." Plate does have 1 1/4" x 1/2" piece missing just below Philadelphia. A great offering ready to display. Minimum bid: $300 Price Realized: $925 |
