Lot: 469  Description: The SILVERTON RAILROAD COMPANY - 1889 type A silver pass No. 341 issued to Frank O Stead. I was able to find reference to Mr. Stead as a banker in Salida and Leadville. This rare piece is in original untouched condition and certainly one of the stars of this my 100th auction. Hallmarked Diamond Palace, Denver, COLO on reverse. These impressive pieces of early Colorado railroad history are a true treasure for anyone able to add one to his or her collection.
