Lot: 251 Description: BE&CRR - (Bradford Eldred & Cuba) serif letters on this early brass single ring key with S on reverse and manufactured by W. Bohannan. This narrow-gauge road was started in New York in 1881 and gone by 1893. A rare key for sure that will be a welcome addition.
PLEASE NOTE: There is concern that this key is actually from the Boston Lowell & Concord rather than the description shown. The consignor listed this as BE&C as the letters are worn and he believed the "L" to be a worn "E". At any rate, it has been shared with me that the cut is identical to the Boston & Lowell. If in fact it is Boston Lowell & Concord it also only ran for a couple of years. A nice key either way so I leave up to you the buyer. Minimum bid: $75 Price Realized: $825 |
