Lot: 187 Description: D&RGW - Curecanti Scenic Line of the World 2" diameter logo etched on the side of clear glass carafe. Ribbed design with bulbous bottom. This amazing rare offering is in good used condition showing understandable scratches and light wear to the logo but still very legible. Overall this one stands 8 3/4" high and approximately 6" diameter at the widest point. This piece is one of the survivors of the height of rail travel when travelers were treated to the best of everything once onboard. Elegant table settings, finest linens and superior service. Days long gone but treasures like this allow the lucky new caretaker to take a step back in time. Definitely one of the stars of this issue.
