Lot: 117 Description: PULLMAN CAR NAMEPLATE - Golden Canyon embossed on stainless steel door plate measuring 15 1/2" x 3 1/2". Manufactured by Loeffelholz & Co., Milwaukee Wisconsin. This was a 6 section car with 6 roomettes and 4 double bedrooms. Built in May 1942 by Pullman-Standard for Golden State, original number 411. December 1945 ownership transferred from Pullman to Southern Pacific. Named Golden Canyon December 1947. Plate shows normal wear from element exposure.
